Massiv Construction
Massiv
An identity that promises as little as the company does — and keeps just as much.
Fictional sample project. This client does not exist — it shows what a real reference will look like once the work is in. Delete before going live.
A construction firm that had never advertised and did not want to start now. What came out is an identity that can carry exactly that.
The brief
A construction firm of 90 people that wins its work by word of mouth and has never advertised. The trigger was mundane: the fleet was being replaced and somebody had to decide what goes on the doors.
The question about a vehicle sticker turned into the question of what the company actually stands for. The answer came from the site manager and was more useful than any workshop: "We are on time and we are expensive. Both are true."

Site boards, not brochures
This firm's most important piece of advertising stands by a road for two years and is seen by everyone who drives past. So we put the budget where it belongs: into a site board system in six formats that one person can put up alone.
There are no brochures. Anyone who wants references gets an address and can drive there.
We did not invent a story. We stopped apologising.
Palette
Signal blue instead of the usual site yellow. Among high-vis vests, blue stands out more than more yellow ever could.
Manual, typeface, recruitment advert. The advert managed without a single adjective.
